Please bring loose fitting shorts and a t-shirt or vest top. As we need access to your skin in and around the area of your pain as our treatment cannot be carried out over clothing.
Your initial visit is broken into 3 sections:
We aim to be able to offer all new and existing clients a treatment slot within the same week they enquire.
This varies from person to person based on their situation, pain and how their body reacts to treatment. Based on our experience we see clients for between 8-14 sessions.
Yes, we offer home visits for those who struggle to attend our clinic, are disabled or too unwell. Home visits cost £75.
Yes, failure to show or to inform us you cannot attend less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in £45 charge.
Yes, the clinic has free on street parking directly outside and on surrounding streets.
We are open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday.
This is the most common question we get asked every week and it makes us sad to hear that all these specialists cannot help.
To answer the question, our treatment system is unique and combines methods and techniques from different professions. We not only target your muscles but treat your connective tissue and body as a whole. This is one of the most common issues when treating chronic and recurring pain. The majority of the professional therapists you see will focus on the area of your pain. However, 90% of chronic pain comes from other areas of the body and this is where the root cause normally lies.
Our treatment is 100% hands on. No gadgets or machines to aid the healing process, just simple hands on treatment.
We use advanced tissue release and stretching methods to give your body the best and most up to date treatment, most of our techniques and methods are pioneered in the USA and Canada.
We’re not saying UK techniques are not good but they are just years and years behind and don’t focus on Chronic pain or the body as whole.
This for us is the most difficult question to answer as it’s based on a number of individual factors.
1) What your pain or long-term issue is (back pain, Fibromyalgia, and so on…).
2) How active you currently are and what you do in your spare time to look after your body.
3) How your body reacts to the treatment, everyone reacts differently.
4) How committed you are to the process.
All these factors go hand in hand and we understand you may need a rough guide for financial reasons. Based on previous clients we would generally expect you to see a good difference within 5-6 treatment sessions and we then re assess and take it from there moving forward.
We have recently started taking online bookings and this is great for you. It means you can see the full availability up to 4 weeks in advance and book whatever service you need.
You can access the booking system via our Facebook page by clicking the ‘book now’ button or via our website.
Please if you have any issues with the online system, let us know and we’ll get back in touch as soon as possible.
We’ll be gutted!
Honestly, if you don’t like the treatment just let us know and we’ll refund you any sessions you have purchased or have booked. However, you won’t be leaving empty handed, you will leave with some tools in how to manage your pain at home away from the clinic.
All our clients love the treatment and when you start to see the brilliant results in both pain and movement you’ll love it as well.
Either drop us an email or Private message on Facebook and we’ll be in touch to arrange a time for a phone call chat. We understand that this can be a big step for some people who have been in pain for a long time, been told there’s nothing that can be done or are just a bit sceptical so we’ll do our best to make you feel as comfortable and excited as possible.
All our sessions last 60 minutes. However, if you are travelling a longer distance or struggle to get to us as often we can offer 90 minute sessions but please get in touch with us if you need this option.
As a new client, your initial session will include a 15-20 minute chat and assessment, followed by treatment for the rest of your session. After this each session will include a brief 5-10 minute chat and then just treatment, treatment, treatment.
I think the best way to answer this question is just to list the most common issues we see at the clinic and have successfully treated.
Don’t worry if you have an issue or been told you have something by your GP or Consultant we can’t list everything. So please get in touch with us.
Back pain – Joint pain – Nerve pain – Sports injuries – Headaches & Migraines – Frozen shoulders – Neck issues – Postural problems – Hip pain – Knee pain – Plantar Fasciitis – Muscle pain & tightness – Running injuries – Tennis elbow – Fibromyalgia – Costochondritis – Pelvic tilt issues – Chronic fatigue syndrome.
Our aim as always is to identify and treat the root cause of your pain/issue, this is what will keep you pain free in the long run.
As above please get in touch if you have any issues that are not listed and we’ll be happy to help where we can.
